deleted pref, reset, uninstall reinstall, nothing works. I even tried creating a new catalo and import my old one, didn’t work. I now roll back to 8.31 to finish workin on current project , will do the help thing when I finish workin. learned my lesson, turn off auto update immediately.....

It does start up, it just won’t load my catalog, a new catalog works fine

I am on MacOS 10.14.6 Macbook Pro 13 2016 no touch bar with eGPU AMD Radeon 580 Lightroom won't open with my catalog, it just hang/crash upon start up. Tried backups of my catalog up to a year ago and no luck, new catalog works fine but unable to import my old catalog. after 4 hours of all kind of test, I decided to roll back to 8.31 and voila everything works as expected.... I really don't mind using the old version, but this is extremely frustrating.
